Being With the Wild

Being With the Wild

Rediscover Your Intuition, Creativity, and Authentic Connection

Gather in a closed group of six women* as we explore our relationship to self, the natural world, and one another. We will engage with nature based and somatic experientials to deepen our understanding of how we relate to the wilderness both within and outside of us. Through art, storytelling, wanders, and discussion - we'll see what comes forth!

In this sacred space, we'll follow her wild threads through:

  • Storytelling: Uncover stories that speak directly to your soul and awaken forgotten parts of your inner wild.

  • Expressive Art: Let creativity flow freely to reveal hidden truths and inner wisdom.

  • Animal Body Wisdom: Engage somatic practices that ground you in instinctual knowing, connecting deeply to your body’s natural intelligence.

  • Nature Wanders: Experience guided wanders on the land, allowing the natural world to mirror and guide your inner explorations.

This journey is an invitation to listen deeply, to reclaim your intuitive voice, and to reconnect with the vitality, creativity, and wisdom that is your birthright.

This is for women* longing to rekindle their intuitive flame, nourish their creative spirit, and cultivate a deeper connection with their authentic selves and nature.

Join us—your wild woman awaits.

About Your Facilitator

Jess Arneson is human and has an animal body—just like you. Her work is rooted in earth-based wisdom. She is guided by relationship with the wilderness, both within us and around us. She believes that humans are inherently whole, carrying our own knowing.

Jess sees the therapeutic relationship as a space to tap into the intuition and truth already within you. Through listening, embodied awareness, and relational support, you will attune to the wisdom that emerges through connection. This process honors both depth and playfulness.

She is currently completing a Masters in the Wilderness Therapy program at Naropa and her internship at the Somatic Nature Therapy Institute. Jess integrates ancestral skills such as hunting, storytelling, hide tanning, and fire-making—not just as tools, but as living metaphors for intuition and remembering who we are. Her approach welcomes raw expression, play, and present moment exploration. Read more.

*We acknowledge the complex history of identity expressions, reclamation, and inclusion through language. Our intention is to create a container that recognizes the broad scope of womanhood. We welcome women (cis and trans), femmes and genderqueer people. As facilitators, we are actively invested in our own learning and skill development around gender diversity and trans inclusion, and welcome any questions or requests from interested applicants.
